NDS POWERSERVICE PSB DC/DC chargers are a powerful, efficient and reliable way to charger leisure batteries in motorhomes and campervans. They can be used with all types of battery, including AGM, gel, wet lead-acid and lithium LiFePO4.
This model will charge at up to 40A, so it’s ideal for a battery with a capacity of between 100 – 200 Ah. It’s compatible with smart alternators and the OPTICHARGE technology optimises the charging rate whenever the engine is running.
POWERSERVICE PSB chargers are the only ones on the market with an AUX connection, making it easy to install them in vehicles with existing charging systems. When the vehicle is in motion, the AUX relay shifts all the loads connected in the control unit to the engine battery, thus bypassing the existing parallel charging connection, ensuring that the leisure battery will be recharged directly, as quickly as possible.
As well as emphasising power, safety is also important. PSB units have protection systems to prevent the alternator from overloading and the engine battery from running out of power.
