This temperature sensor is for use with NDS SunControl 2 regulators and must be used when connecting to lithium batteries. In this case, if the temperature of the battery reaches 0 degrees C, the regulator will stop charging.
When used with AGM and other lead-acid batteries, the temperature sensor ensures that they are charged efficiently and safely.
