The Campere Solar Panel System is a unique way of maximising the power generated by solar panels on the roof of your motorhome or caravan.
In many cases, there are so many obstacles - TV aerial, satellite dish, WiFi aerial, air-con, roof lights, etc - on a vehicle's roof that it can be difficult to add as many panels as you would like. Using specially designed panels and connecting cables, the Campere system enables even small spaces to be utilised meaning that, instead of having 100W or 200W of panel, you could have 400W, 500W or even more. In the illustration above, there are 900 Watts of solar panel on the roof of the motorhome. More panels mean faster charging of your batteries, making it easier than ever to stay "off-grid".
There are many advantages to the system. For example: if a solar module is partially shaded in a series-connected installation, this reduces the electricity yield of all other modules. The parallel connection of the Campere solar modules SPL25 and SPL105 prevents this effect. Since the voltage in parallel connection is constant, only the performance of the partially shaded modules is limited. All other modules continue to deliver full performance.
If you're worried about extra weight, don't be! Campere panels weigh around 30% less than typical rigid panels.
