The AMT12-2 Pro has many names Trickle Charger, Battery Maintainer, Battery Saver, Reverse Charger, Top Up Charger, Battery Equaliser. Whatever you call it, its purpose is to keep a vehicle’s starter battery charged & protected from damage during prolonged periods of inactivity or storage. It does this by taking a small current from the leisure battery. Ideally, the leisure battery should be connected to a solar regulator or mains charger but, even if it’s not, the unit will continue to work as long as the voltages set are maintained.

The AMT12-Pro charges the Vehicle battery if the Leisure battery is at a higher threshold than the starter battery at a pulse rating of 3a. 

The AMT12-2PRO works with all types of 12v and 24v lead acid & lithium batteries, The Status LED gives feedback on the Trickle Charger Operation, State of Charge of the Vehicle Battery and Auxiliary Battery Conditions.
