On Most vehicles despite a powerful alternator, it is usual for the Leisure battery to be only partially charged even on long journeys. The VOTRONIC charging converters provide a solution for this, charging the Leisure battery quickly and gently in accordance with the battery manufacturer's specifications. Even on short journeys, the battery is charged with a full charging current. Losses due to long charging cables in large vehicles and voltage fluctuations on the alternator (Euro 6) are also compensated.
This model is intended for use on Caravans and is for use on 12v battery systems providing a reliable 20a charge
