Twin-view cameras are ideal for use on motorhomes and other vehicles where vision behind the vehicle is restricted. The camera can help when reversing and also in normal driving when it’s important to know what’s going on behind you.

There are three kinds of twin-view camera:

1. Cameras like the Camos Jewel with one lens giving two views.
2. Cameras with a single motorised lens that changes position according to whether a forward or reverse gear is selected.
3. Cameras with two lenses.

Motorised versions are compact and work well but are expensive and can go wrong. Twin lens models are much more common but, with a few exceptions are ugly, tend to go rusty, have two cables to run and don’t give a very good picture on the screen.

This model from Camos has two lenses but, due to the unique camera design, is as compact as a single-lens model. It not only looks great though, it has superb performance and, because it’s made by Camos, is tough and reliable. Infra-red illumination and a microphone are built into the housing.

This kit is comprised of a CM-49 camera, a 7” mirror-mounted monitor and 18M of cable. 

PLEASE NOTE: The monitor supplied with this kit does not have a speaker built-in. If you need a monitor with a speaker, please order the camera separately and one of our dash-mounted monitors.
