Description
With just about every feature you can think of, this receiver is our top of the range free to air model. It can be used with any satellite system, both portable and automatic.
With its high definition capability, programmes which are transmitted in HD can be seen as they were intended, with unbelievable sharpness and brightness. You’ll have to use a suitable TV of course, such as the DQT
A common interface slot is built in, enabling the use of most viewing cards (not Sky) and you can record onto a USB memory stick or hard drive. It's possible to transfer the recorded data so that it can be viewed on a computer or even using a DVD player. For information on how to do this, please see the reviews for this product.
It can be used in conjunction with the “EasyFind” LNB system.
This model is supplied with a European 230V adaptor. A U.K. adaptor (U0013) is available on request at a small additional cost.

Great little device. Recently bought a motorhome with an Oyster Disc installed - hooked this unit up and with a little help from RoadPro to turn the LNB power on it worked perfectly. Oyster auto finds the sats and the M150 tunes in all the channels very quickly.
Excellent but could do with a remote eye to allow hiding the system in a cupboard.
Great service and support from RoadPro

You may be interested to know for information for other customers that it is possible to convert the video recorded onto the USB stick into other formats that can be viewed on a PC or transferred to DVD for a conventional DVD player.
I have tracked down one piece of software “Video Converter 6” from AVS4You.com that will do the job. There may be others. The software isn’t free, but it doesn’t cost that much for a life-time licence that includes other video and audio editing software.
The .DVR format used by the Micro M150 box is apparently the same format that is used by CCTV recorders.
Using the AVS4You software and the M150 receiver I have successfully recorded a two hour film from satellite onto USB and converted it to DVD and viewed it on my main home system.
I wouldn’t say it is straightforward, and you need a fast PC but it is possible!

Having Just received the STB I opened the Box and discovered a very small unit measuring just 11” x 6” x 1 ½ or for the Metric Minded 280 x 152 x 38 mm.
It comes complete with vehicle cigarette lighter socket and a 240v adaptor, on the rear it has Scart sockets (X2), HDMI socket, Composite R,W,Y and R,G,B sockets, a USB socket for recording programmes and an optical connection if required and also the obvious Sat Dish and power connectors.
So I started to connect it up, The connections were all self explanatory and I certainly didn’t need instructions to do that, Found the menu button and pressed it, Oh my god I thought as everything came up in German, Then I thought hold on a minute I seem to recognize this menu, It is so like my Oyster Sat menu that I was immediately at home, scrolled down and found the easily recognizable “Sprachen” highlighted it and pressed “Ok” then went ahead and set it up in “Englisch” I then started touring the menu and then went on to Channel listings where you have all the channels on all the satellites and you can do a scan for more channels if you want, You can select ‘Favourites” and add your channels to the list “Easy”.
It is as I have said so much like the Oyster menu’s it makes it so easy, Within minutes I am adding channels to favourites on each satellite and more to the point channels that are not listed on the satellite listings like ITV HD where you have to manually enter the frequency and all data but to this little beauty no problem.
You can also tell it to update it’s satellite channels by “scanning” the satellite you are on, Now when you tell it to do that you have the choice of just “FTA” (Free to Air) or All channels, as I have a CI module (a Common Interface) I scan all, and it does it all automatically.
Right Ok let’s get sorted, I plugged my USB drive in the back and up it came “USB Connected” now my drive is a 12 gb Iomega drive and it sorted it right away, I then tried to see how easy it was to record, Pressed “Timer” button on remote control and saw just how easy it was to set a recording time channel etc what I was surprised by was that you can set for as far in advance as you want, I actually set a record timer up for Xmas day this year with no problem, when setting up a record timer you have the option to record Once, Weekly or Daily and you select the date and obviously the time and duration you can set up to eight timers.
In my opinion this is now the smallest and all self contained STB I have seen, and I have seen a few, It is absolutely ideal for Motorhomes and Caravans alike.
